Lindenfeld is a ghost town located in the Semenic Mountains, Romania. It is known as „legendary ghost village” in Romanian. The village was founded in the 17th century by German settlers, who were attracted to the area for its abundant natural resources and fertile land. The village prospered for centuries, but over time it fell into decline due to a variety of factors, including economic changes, natural disasters, and war. The village was abandoned in the early 20th century and today it is a popular destination for hikers, bikers, and history enthusiasts. The village is located in the Semenic-Cheile Carasului National Park, which offers many hiking and biking trails, as well as the opportunity to see wildlife. The village is also home to the ruins of a church and other historical buildings that can be visited.
