1. The Danube Gorges

A mountain biking programme taking you along the Danube Gorges, the most beautiful area of the Danube’s course and the longst gorges of Europe, 144km between the Banat and the Serbian mountains. A fascinating combination of the adrenaline given by the rocky hills and steep trails, the peacefullness of the lazy Danube flow and the insightfullness of the dirt roads that take you to villages that seem to have frozen in time. It is a protected area both because of it’s rare animal and vegetal species and because of the cultural richness and diversity given by the romanian, serbian, czech, and german communities.

We also offer an alternative day of visiting the Ponicova cave, a controversed cave which is thought to have been used to cross from Romania to Serbia during the comunist regime.

2. The Two National Parks

Mountain biking in the longest limestone corridor of Romania. The route will take you trough two national parks of virgin beauty: Semenic Cheile Carasului and Cheile Nerei Beusnita. You will have the chance to visit natural and artificial lakes, waterfalls, caves, isolated villages, areas with Mediterranean influence in vegetation and scenery and to ride on a variety of terrains from rocky trails to smooth dirt roads and paths.

The natural resources and beauties have attracted throughout history people from various parts of Europe transforming the region in a model of cultural diversity. In the evenings you can taste the local intercultural cuisine and enjoy the local legends and tales while drinking the typical drinks near the camp fire.

We also offer a visit into the Comarnic cave, one of the longest in Romania speleology at 8 degrees C and a fun relaxing session rafting through Cheile Nerei.

3. Lakes of Banat

An 8 days mountain biking programme that takes you to the 5 mountain lakes in the Semenic Mountains. On the way you will enjoy the soft hills crossed by dirt roads and trails, sunny meadows where the smell of flowers and spices make you smile, and challenging climbs through the cool woods. Once you get up at 1400m altitude, the view opens with an impressive plateau surrounded by picturesque woods full of springs and beautiful valleys, creating the paradise of single trails and breathtaking descends.

After the ride you can cool off in one of the 5 mountain lakes in a scenery dominated by fir and beech woods: Trei Ape, Gozna, Secu, Buhui or Marghitas offer the perfect relaxation moments, weather it is swimming, kayaking or just hanging on the pontoon.

During the programme you will visit the villages of Garana/ Wolfsberg, Brebu Nou/ Widenthal or Valiug/ Frantzdorf, communities set by ethnic German population which still preserve the initial atmosphere and remind you of times when simplicity was valued.

You will also have the chance to explore the Comarnic cave, one of the longest caves in Romania, full of impressive formations.

4. Semenic Mountains

Sport, fun and relaxation in a perfect area for mountain biking: challenging climbs, wild nature areas, spectacular views, easy access dirt roads and single trails, green valleys, cold springs, a whole mountain to explore.
The programme includes an alternative adventure day: walking through the underground river of the Buhui cave, jumping in waterfalls at 7 degrees C and then relaxing and enjoying swimming or just a drink at the Gozna lake.
