An impressive region in south-west of Romania, with 4 national parks and 15 Natura 2000 sites. The rich biodiversity, the natural resources, the strategic positioning along the Danube brought here people from all over Europe building the intercultural environment that the region is known for nowadays, together with the hospitality of the people, the gastronomy, local products and the well-preserved traditions.
